Workshops

Learn how it’s really done — from someone who actually does it.

01 — Intro

Game localization. Subtitle translation. Dubbing adaptation. These aren’t just buzzwords — they’re real skills, with real constraints, used daily by professionals in the entertainment industry.

If you’ve ever wanted to step into this world — or sharpen the skills you already have — my workshops are a practical, no-fluff way to do just that.

No theory for theory’s sake. Just the processes and thinking that translators actually use on real projects.

02 — Mission objective

I don’t teach generic translation. I teach how to think like a localizer, a dialogue writer, a subtitler — depending on the field you want to explore.

The goal is not just knowledge, but confidence: knowing how to approach a script, solve creative problems, and meet client expectations while preserving your own style and standards.

Whether you’re a beginner or a working translator shifting toward AVT or games, I can help you level up with hands-on examples and industry insight.

03 — Workshop formats

Intro to Game Localization

Learn what are the localization kits, the limits of narrative design, and how to write for player immersion — all while respecting tags, variables, and character limits.

We’ll work on real lines and review them together. You'll learn then biggest challenges in a game localization and how to overcome them.

Subtitling Essentials

How much can you cut without losing meaning? What’s the right reading speed? How do you balance compression with tone?

This workshop covers the delicate art of subtitles — theory and translation.

Dubbing Scriptwriting

Get into the mindset of a dubbing scriptwriter: how to match tone, timing, and mouth movements while staying true to the original.

This includes writing cues, reactions, and “invisible” adjustments that make a scene sing.

Tailored Sessions

Want something more specific?

I also offer 1-on-1 or team workshops focused on your current challenges — whether you’re handling your first localization project or building an in-house translation process.

03 — Results

You leave with more than just notes. You leave with frameworks, habits, and real-world strategies.

My workshops help you avoid rookie mistakes, understand client briefs, communicate like a pro, and most importantly — think like a localization expert. Because that's what makes all the difference in this field.
